Things I’m pumped on: Kristi Noem getting fired. The snow today (3/6). Hope and community.
I’m having a bad mental health day so I’m trying to do everything I can to help myself out. Coffee+Protein+Tea Lady powder. Water. Breakfast. A good cry about something stupid (nail appt). Dance to some music. Watch one of my favorite shows. Stay hydrated and fed allll day. Get in a nice shower.

The Traitors Finale and Reunion 👜

Spoilers ahead! The finale was electric. This season was so good. The Eric banishment was insane. Rob played such a good game and honestly, it was time for a traitor to win. The look on Maura’s face though! Devastating. I love her. Then the reunion, omg. They are going for each other. 1, I love Andy Cohen as the reunion host, he’s doing it the justice it deserves. This is such a good mix of a cast, I’m so intrigued what they’ll do next. God I love Maura. Ron deserved better. Mark Ballas rocks. And I really enjoyed Tara and Johnny as someone who very much watched and loved them in their Olympics. It’s really crazy to hear all of their inside thoughts, I can’t imagine being in the castle. They truly got bamboozled. Rob got em. Also, I just learned that they don’t stay in the castle, they stay in a hotel like 45-60 minutes away.

Coming back to this a couple days later, o m g I am obsessed with all of the Rob and Maura content. The Birkin. I die. 

A Day at Winter Park! ❄️

We were able to hit Winter Park this week!! There was some new snow, but to be honest it was SO SLOW. Granted, I do need to wax them…anyway. The snow was snow, but we had a bunch of fun. We really just lapped Ash Cat (the small park with boxes and some tubes and small jumps) until we were tired. I was able to hit the boxes, slide em, and 180. I’m working on carving while going backwards! It was a good time, and I made a joke that Larry Sale was the best it ever has been right now (true). But please, Winter Park, get more parking. It’s fucking awful. I can’t take it. Especially with them only getting more popular, planning to expand terrain, they need help with the infrastructure that transports and houses and holds their guests.

Being Gordon Ramsey 🥪

We watched the Gordon Ramsey documentary over a couple of days and it was amazing! It’s so crazy to see how he is as a person behind the scenes and not as a star of Hell’s Kitchen yelling that you’re an idiot sandwich. It seems like he’s grown a lot and he’s just such a kind, passionate person and father and husband. I really like seeing him supporting his kids and his relationship with his wife and life and everything he does. On top of that, the doc follows him opening like 5 restaurants on the top of the tallest building in London, which is freaking insane. Watch it!! On Netflix. ****WHAT ARE YOU ***AN IDIOT SANDWICH

Fortune Wok to Table 🍜

My friend and hair painter Johnna recommended this place to Ryder and I because we love Beijing Noodle in Fort Collins so much and were looking for something in Denver. It’s in Cherry Creek but is super nonpretentious and homey and comfortable. We ordered the Winter Wonton Soup, pork pan-fried dumplings, and beef Shanghainese Street Noodles, and I’m not kidding this is not in my top 5 for dinners. I LOVED IT. The flavor of the soup broth, the thin wontons, the noodles, o m g. Small menu, easy, got a few things and paid like $50.

Pizza Night at Home 🍕

Saturday night we had pizza night because Ryder had dough to use! He made 4:
1. Mary G, red sauce, basil, sliced tomato, mozz, 

2. SPF-2000: Basil-alfredo sauce, baby bella mushrooms, spicy italian sausage, mozz, parm

3. Surf’s Up: Red sauce, pancetta, pineapple, mozz, burrata

4. Winter Olympics 2026: Lemon herb ricotta sauce, prosciutto, ricotta, garlic, arugula, mozz

We had our friends Ashley and Daniel over, we watched the end of the Avs game, drove on the sim, and watched Suddenly Amish (what a show..! We’ve continued watching it and wow entertainment).

Get Your Picture Frames at the Dang Thrift Store 🖼️

Hey this is just a PSA, you don’t need to order or buy new frames from places. Go to any thrift store and you’ll find the size you need. I’m not bluffing. Get. Your. Frames. At. The. Dang. Thrift. Store. I hate contributing to so much waste, so much consumerism. Obviously you can get many things at the thrift; Ryder gets everything he needs for his garage (@ryderspeedshop on Instagram), I’m often finding frames and even found a vinyl holder the other day that I love. Don’t take this to say you should buy a bunch of stuff, but if you need certain things you might be able to thrift them, spend less, and be more sustainable.

Celebrities in Denver 🌟

We were driving home from doing errands, stopped at a stop light, I looked over and it was none other than Mat Kerekes and his girlfriend. I had to roll down the window and say “I’m such a big fan of your music!” and we got to have a short conversation about how he was here to play at Marquis, he was playing through one of his solo albums. Then he said they were off to the gym and we headed on our way! He’s such a celebrity to me, from Citizen days to his solo stuff (big shout out to Ike my friend who also loves him and got me into his solo work) and Ryder and I were speechless all the way home.

Snipeburger 🍔

Back in the day, the kitchen at the King of Wing in Wheat Ridge burned down. During their rebuilding, they started a weekly popup where they’d make smash burgers with some fixin’s alongside fries and onion rings. We used to frequent that over the weekends, but now KoW has a location in Golden that has become home to their weekly Tuesday night Snipeburger. So good! You can get it with 2+ patties and any amount of the fixin’s (I get everything minus jalapenos). I think they have the best onion rings around, too. Anyway, long story short, we went this week and it was fabulous like usual. It felt like their service was the best it’s been, which was great because sometimes we were left waiting for the bill.

F1 Is Baaaaaaack 🏎️

We love watching F1 and this weekend is the first race!! We always try to watch as much as possible throughout race weekends, but I’m nervous it’ll be difficult as F1 TV pulled out of the US and my account will be shut down next week :( anyway. Taking in the weekend warmup, practices, qualifying, and the race. I’m generally a Ferrari fan, Charles as my OG #1. It’s funny though, I feel like I really enjoy a lot of the drivers, which makes these seasons so much fun. We also got to watching the newest Drive to Survive season, which follows last season. It was so fun to see Lando win his first GP and then win the season. What a wild season it was. Obviously hoping Ferrari can ehhhhh win more this year :)
